Weile (pronunciation: vai-ler) Wei (Chinese name: 魏伟乐) is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science under Prof. Hartmut Kaiser at Louisiana State University. He recently received his master's degree in Computer Science from LSU (2020 May). His research interests cover:​

  • C++ Software Development

  • Multi-threaded Programming

  • Parallel and Distributed Computing

  • GPU optimization

He has contributed to several open-source software:

  • High-performance ParalleX (HPX): The C++ Standard Library for Parallelism and Concurrency

  • DCA++: C++ library quantum cluster algorithms

  • LibCDS: C++ library of Concurrent Data Structures

  • Phylanx: Asynchronous Distributed C++ Array Processing Toolkit

  • z5:  C++ and Python interface for datasets in zarr and N5 format
